I like Denver, it&#8217;s home to a lot of good beers,\u00c2\u00a0brewpubs\u00c2\u00a0and micro\u00c2\u00a0breweries, not to mention the\u00c2\u00a0people here are so nice and down to earth. My first night here I was talking to one of the locals, and told him I was on a quest to find the\u00c2\u00a0prefect\u00c2\u00a0beer. I\u00c2\u00a0explained that I was looking for a\u00c2\u00a0regional\u00c2\u00a0beer, \u00c2\u00a0something I\u00c2\u00a0couldn&#8217;t\u00c2\u00a0get back home or that would be\u00c2\u00a0difficult\u00c2\u00a0to find. He thought my quest was noble, and\u00c2\u00a0recommended one of his\u00c2\u00a0favorites,\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.odells.com\/beers\/90shilling.php\">90 Shilling.\u00c2\u00a0<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mybeerquest.com\/beerlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/08\/90shilling.jpg\" title=\"90shilling.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mybeerquest.com\/beerlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/08\/90shilling.jpg\" alt=\"90shilling.jpg\" \/><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It is a nice dark amber Scottish\u00c2\u00a0Ale. This was\u00c2\u00a0different\u00c2\u00a0than any other Scottish Ale I have\u00c2\u00a0tried, in that it was hoppier and not as sweet.
