Beer Expeditions

Pete’s Wicked Ale Strawberry blonde. So this is the third strawberry beer I’ve tried on my quest for the perfect beer. You can read about one of the others in my post onStrawberry Beer. After that post, some one  told me I should try this Pete’s, so I did. This one is a berry sweet beer. I don’t normally care for the sweeter beers but some times they are alright.  I know a few people who love this beer ,but out of all the Strawberry Blondes I have tried it is not my favorite. It was too sweet for me, in fact the strawberry flavor tasted artificial, as if they just added some strawberry syrup. Firestone and Belmont Brewery’s strawberry blondes have a subtle, more natural flavor, not over powering.
