Beer Expeditions

Stone Brewery Double Bastard, I have to be honest I heard a lot of hype about this one. I was tying not to listen to it. I didn’t want to be disappointed if it didn’t live up to my expectations. I poured the deep amber liquid into the glass. By its peasant hopy aroma we were off to a good start.  I was anxious to taste it but paused and looked at the rocky head once more. The taste lived up to my expectations and more.  It was hopy with a bit of a bite, nice finish, everything a beer should be. I will recommend this beer to beer drinkers and non beer drinkers this beer is a beer every one. I would hate to think my quest is over but after trying this beer it may be. So brewers of  the world get moving. this one have just moved to the top of my list.
