Beer Expeditions

This weekend I went to The Strawberry Festive in Oxnard  

CA. They had strawberry everything there. Strawberry pie, nachos, shortcake, pizza, margaritas, wine and you guest it Beer, I had to try it. This was not the first time I had strawberry beer. The first was at a brewery in Long-Beach CA Called Belmont Brewery the beer there was called Strawberry Blond. It one is one of Kate’s Favorite. This one is maid by Firestone especially for the strawberry festival. From what I can find they called this one Strawberry Blond too. I am not usually a fan of fruit beers or lambics, but sometimes when I’m in the mood for something different, a strawberry beer sounds nice. I liked this one It was not to sweet and not to biter. It was almost like a strawberry bock it could have ben, like I said I haven’t found out much about it other than it was maid by Firestone. If anyone knows any more information about this beer please post it in the garden, or email me. over all it was a nice refreshing beer for a spring after noon, but not something I would drink on a regular bases.
