Beer Expeditions

Lucky Baldwins is a place that has a wonderful beer selection, one of the best I have seen in Southern California, it is a comfortable place too. I like dark Belgium ales so Lucky Baldwins 9th Annual Belgian Festival was a great place to try some. First I had St Bernardus Prior 8, A nice dark ale, a very tasty ale indeed. The second was Grimbergen Double, a dark brown ale recommended to me by the water. He was correct this was truly a magnificent ale. Third and final ale of the night was Keizersberg Abbey Ale lighter color than the other two. There were a lot of good beers to choose from I wish I could have tried some more. Over all I think the Grimbergen Double was my favorite. We had A very delightful night. I cant wait to go back to Lucky Baldwins.
