Beer Expeditions

Pete’s Wicked Ale.This ones been around for years. It was on special at the store, along with Pete’s Strawberry Blonde. Naturally, I decided to try both. The name is enticing, at least I thought it was 15 years ago. Back then sounded so Grunge, and was a nice alternative to Budwiser and all the rest of the mass produced beers.

Pete’s started in a computer programers home in the Silicon Valley just like Apple computer. Now the label says Uthica, New York. what’s with that?

The deep amber color seemed comforting, however, I find Pete,s to be lacking in flavor and richness, despite the color.

 I used to like this beer a lot, now I don’t know if my taste have changed or the beer. The only thing special about Pete’s seemed to be the sale price at the  Grocery store.
