Stockyard Brewing Co. Oatmeal Stout

Stock Yard Oatmeal Stout. img_4068.jpgI am getting kind of board of these summer beers so I decided to have something different. I haven’t had an Oatmeal Stout in a wile. This one is made by Stock Yard Brewing in Chicago, with a old Irish recipe. I like Oatmeal Stout’s. Maybe Its my Irish roots, but I always thought a they were a good hardy beer. It has a nice dark color and good foamy head. Smooth with a kind of sweet finish. A veery nice beer to go with dinner very filling. I forgot how tired some stouts make me, it is time for me to take a nap.
