Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout being a stout naturally it has a nice dark coffee color with a nice foamy head. Samuel Smith is one of the best Oatmeal Stout I ever had. It  has a nice smooth rich taste, but not overwhelming. If you know someone that likes stouts this would make a good gift, it is quite a treat.Â

One of my favorite Italian Bees is Moretti la Rossa. When ever we go out for food this is the beer I usually have. It is dark but clear very malty but dry. It goes well with pizza or pasta, a nice dinner beer. 7.2 Alc/Vol the taste of this one is unlike any other beer I have had. Next time you out to dinner in an Italian restraint order one, let me know what […]

Red Hook ESBI tried this one because I have had other ESB’s “Extra Special Bitters” and I have liked them. I quickly learned this was different than all of them. I wasn’t bad it just wasn’t what I was expecting. It didn’t taste like an ESB, it tasted like your agave ale. Over all this one was just so so, nothing really extra special or for that matter bitter about it.

Tonight  Kate and I decided we have not been out for Sushi for a wile so, thats what we did.  We had never been to this place across from the brewery called Wokcano, so we went there. They had a lot of good beer on tap, but whenever I go out for sushi I always order a Japanese beer. I was pleased when they had my favorite Japanese beer […]

Anchor Brewing Liberty Ale  Anchor Brewing company, is known for San Francisco’s famous Anchor Steam. They also have other beers too, there Liberty Ale is one of them. This beer was first brewed  in 1975 as a seasonal ale, to celibate the bicentennial of Paul Revere’s Historic ride. In the 1980’s it became so popular they started to make it regularly. I first tried this beer in the […]

I must have first tried Samuel Adams Bostan Lager fifteen years ago or so. I remember tasting it and thinking finally a American mass-produced beer that has taste. I like Samuel Adams Bostan Lager a lot. It taste like a beer should. It has a nice color, aroma and, taste good, what more can you ask. It is just a good beer. If you have never tried it before I don’t know what you are waiting for.
