Samuel Smith’s Old Brewery, Oatmeal Stout

Published by under Beer Expedition

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout being a stout naturally it has a nice dark coffee color with a nice foamy head. Samuel Smith is one of the best Oatmeal Stout I ever had. It  has a nice smooth rich taste, but not overwhelming. If you know someone that likes stouts this would make a good gift, it is quite a treat.

Italian Beer

Published by under Beer Expedition

One of my favorite Italian Bees is Moretti la Rossa. When ever we go out for food this is the beer I usually have. It is dark but clear very malty but dry. It goes well with pizza or pasta, a nice dinner beer. 7.2 Alc/Vol the taste of this one is unlike any other beer I have had. Next time you out to dinner in an Italian restraint order one, let me know what […]

Red Hook ESB

Published by under Beer Expedition

Red Hook ESBI tried this one because I have had other ESB’s “Extra Special Bitters” and I have liked them. I quickly learned this was different than all of them. I wasn’t bad it just wasn’t what I was expecting. It didn’t taste like an ESB, it tasted like your agave ale. Over all this one was just so so, nothing really extra special or for that matter bitter about it.
